SUMMER FOODBANK COLLECTION

On Saturday 4th July, Balsall Common Lions will once again be conducting our village-wide Foodbank Collection in support of four local foodbanks: Around Again (Chelmsley Wood), Bethany Community Foodbank, Helping Hands (Solihull) and Carriers of Hope (Coventry).

Please leave your donation on the frontage of your house before 11:00am on Saturday 4th July and our volunteers will collect it during the morning. Alternatively, donations can be left at one of our village drop-off points, including our dedicated collection point at the Co-op in Balsall Common.

Any donation will be gratefully received, but if you are looking for suggestions, the following items are always in demand:

• Tinned foods – vegetables, beans, soup, meat, fish and fruit

• Dried foods – pasta, rice, cereals, tea, coffee and pasta sauces
