Lions Supporting Afghan Refugees and a huge thanks to the Co-op, Balsall Common!
Balsall Common Lions have responded to the appeal for support of Afghan refugees by donating over £200 in much-needed toiletries and hygiene products. The donation from Lions was very generously matched by our local Co-op store , here in Balsall Common.

These are now destined for Billesley Ark, the Council hub for donations for the 200 Afghan families arriving in Birmingham.
This donation, plus in excess of £50 worth of personal donations have now been delivered to Lions National HQ in King Heath in Birmingham which is just around the corner from Billesley Ark.
