Congratulations to Mike Edkins who took over the Balsall Common Lions presidency on July 1st.
Mike has lived in the village for over thirty years and been a member of Balsall Common Lions for over twenty of them. He has made a huge contribution to our Club. In recent months, his company was responsible for organising and producing over 30,000 visors for the NHS including hospitals, the local GP surgery, Pharmacy and some Care Homes
He now takes on the Presidency for the Lions year, 2020/21.
Mike takes over the role of President from Ross Collins, who has steered us through a highly successful year, especially during the last 4 months of lockdown when, despite the challenges, we have still been able to donate in excess of £7,500 to local good causes.
Mike's first job was to induct three new members into the Club who we will introduce over the next few days.
