Earlier this year, Balsall Common Lions were invited to work in conjunction with Morrisons (Sheldon) to donate to a fabulous group of pensioners in Sheldon who had worked tirelessly to raise money and support others during the pandemic.
Morrisons Community Champion, Melanie Colivet organised a Platinum Jubilee outing to Shrewsbury for a boat trip on board the Sabrina as part of a day out. Balsall Common Lions were pleased to make a £500 financial contribution towards the days’ festivities as a ‘Thank You’ for all the amazing work that these pensioners have done.
