We are very pleased to announce Ian Hedley as the newest member of Balsall Common Lions - pictured here with sponsor Mike Edkins and Lion President, Mark Whitfield Ian has lived in the village for 17 years, is married to Barbara and they have two sons. Ian is no stranger to Lions. He has previously been a Lion with Solihull Lions and was their President in 1993/94.
Ian is retired. He has also retired from many other voluntary and civic roles - a Governor at Bordesley Green Girls School, and from being an SMBC Councillor and from the Balsall Common Parish Council, and is now looking forward to supporting our community through Lions
With his huge amount of experience, we are very fortunate indeed to add Ian to our numbers.
